Job Description:

As a Crewing Lead, you will be responsible for managing the crewing operations for our fleet of vessels. This role involves ensuring that all vessels are staffed with qualified, competent, and compliant crew members. You will handle the end-to-end process of crew management, from recruitment to performance management, while ensuring adherence to maritime regulations and company policies.


Key Responsibilities:


Recruitment and Onboarding:

Create and post job adverts for crew positions.


Schedule and conduct interviews.

Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation and certifications are in place.


Crew Planning and Management:

Plan and manage crew changes, rotations, and replacements.

Maintain accurate crew records and manage crew databases.

Ensure compliance with STCW certifications, MLC regulations, and other relevant maritime laws.


Performance Management:

Conduct regular performance evaluations of crew members.

Provide feedback and support for crew development and training needs.


Administration:

Manage personal files, data entry, and other administrative tasks.

Handle visa applications, work passes, and other travel-related documentation.

Compliance and Certification:

Ensure all crew members have up-to-date certifications and meet company and client requirements.

Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with international maritime regulations.


Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in crewing or ship management.

Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and certification requirements (STCW, MLC, etc.).

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel).

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.

Experience with crewing management systems is an advantage.


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,500.00 per month
