Job summary:
The Senior FF&E Designer will work closely with the Project Director and design/FF&E team and be responsible for all design phases from concept development to visualisation, documentation and site implementation.
Job description:
· Responsible for all design phases from concept to site supervision
· Work closely with the Project lead, design and FF&E team
· Coordinate with operator, relevant consultants and contractors during all project stages
· Coordinate with drafting teams to produce fully coordinated tender documentation packages
· Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet given deadlines
· Attend site meetings and factory inspections to check compliance to design and assist in providing solutions to site issues
· Mentor junior team members
Requirements:
· Degree/Diploma in Architecture or Interior Design or equivalent
· Minimum of 10 years experience designing interiors of hotels and high-end residences in Singapore and Internationally
· Experience in handling hospitality and residential projects in all design phases
· Creative with strong design flair and presentation skills
· Good knowledge of product specification, sourcing and suppliers
· Good understanding of design in terms of composition, space planning, detailing, materials and FF&E selection
· Coordinate with the 3d visualization team to create realistic renderings reflecting the design intent
· Strong in design detailing and freehand sketching
· Good understanding of site work and implementation
· Strong communication skills
· Thorough understanding of AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and Indesign
· Knowledge of Sketchup will be a plus
· Strong organisational skills
· Able to understand drawings and design
· Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Reliable to work independently
· Team player with a positive attitude
