The primary function is to design and develop solutions for critical business processes residing in enterprise applications for manufacturing. He/she has to analysis, troubleshoot business process issue/inefficiencies and provide sound business enhancement/ solution/ alternative that is based on standard capability and functionality. He/she has to provide documentation on Application Architectural design, As-Is and To-Be business processes, function and technical design, application setup and configuration, Test scenarios, System Testing, Issue logging, root cause analysis and resolution, and provide deliverable update to management. He/ she has to understand and comply with company policy and procedure, ITGC (Governance Control) and SOX requirements. He/She has to Uphold IT operation efficiency and SLA.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead in user requirements gathering and analysis
- Drive user discussions and conduct workshops to facilitate information gathering
- Perform feasibility study to ascertain area of automation
- Document user requirements into user specifications (functional & technical)
- Lead in system design and development of functionality according to the agreed user specifications
- Develop test plan & scripts
- Conduct testing on developed functionality to ensure compliance to user specifications and internal quality assurance requirements
- Lead in user training & user acceptance testing
- Provide periodic reports to reporting manager on project progress
- Handle issues resolution in accordance to SLA
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in computer science, Information Technology or above
- Minimum 5 years in in High-Tech manufacturing- Has gone through at least 1 round of Enterprise application Implementation cycles
- Experience with Scrum agile methodology
- It will be highly advantageous for candidates with experience in both ERP and MES Application Systems (functionality, database schema, architecture, development etc)
- Experience in setups and technically competent.
- Strong expertise in with software development lifecycles & methodologies
- Experience in Supply and Demand Planning, Bills of Materials, Cost Management, Engineering, Quality modules, Manufacturing execution
