Bakery Operations Manager

We are looking for a passionate and committed Operations Manager to manage our F&B operation. The candidate should have a track record as an operations manager, working in F&B and bakeries with prior experience in bread making and bakery operations. He or she needs to be able to run all aspects of operations and work closely with the Japanese consultants and our lead bakers to ensure the quality and consistency of food items from our kitchens. The candidate should be able to recommend kitchen productivity improvements and manage all logistics and inventory of kitchen output. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all outlets to ensure smooth flow of daily operations & delivery of targets for each outlet

• This includes: selection, training & development, daily workflow, inventory management, planning & performance of kitchen employees

• Manage current B2B partners and looking for new B2B partners to expand and improve sales and revenue

• Work on R&D of new items with the head bakers. Ensure that product offerings caters to customer’s demands and ensure rotation of seasonal and new items

• Manage food cost and standards through supplier management to ensure best quality of ingredients are used in our products

• Review, analyse, develop and enhance performance of team via training, developing and motivating them by being a role model

• Create & implement consistent communication across internal departments: kitchen, operations, outlets

•Ensure all outlets are in compliance with all the relevant regulation and legislation, e.g. business licences, labor laws, hygiene standards, etc

• Review & enhance SOPs and processes working closely with Operations Manager, Front of House and Back of House leads

• Plan roster, provide direction to kitchen employees regarding operational and procedural issues

• Manage labour cost & other operating cost within company's KPI

• Review, enhance and implement existing operational SOP

• Ensure brand performance and PnL targets are met according to company KPIs

• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management

Requirements:

• Relevant managerial/operational experience in large kitchen operations in Restaurants/Hotel chains. Experience in Baking/pastry/hand-made goods a distinct advantage

• Possess good communication skills to deal with diverse staff and suppliers

• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• At least 5 years-experience in F&B

• Relevant food hygiene and other certifications
