Your role:
- Ready to join a great team of Henkel Supply Chain team with an exciting job opportunity as a Logistics Purchasing Manager APAC
- Directly reporting into the Head of Purchasing Logistics APAC
- You will assume regional responsibility focus on categories of Sea & Air Freight, Customs Brokerage and Express & Parcel services in collaboration with the Global Category Team Leads
- Implementation of regional and global Purchasing Logistics Projects
- Development of middle and long-term strategies to best leverage of the global supply base
- Definition and management of the supplier portfolio as well as establishment of new strategic supplier relationships
- Maintenance and documentation of industry insights and innovations from the Sea & Air Freight markets
- Project management of globally and regionally steered sourcing activities
- Operation with Supply Chain teams of the business units in order to identify projects leading to cost reduction and service improvement
- Management of the net price development for respective categories / baskets
Your skills:
- Preferably University Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Administration
- At least 7 years of experience in Logistics Sourcing
- Knowledge of the logistics markets including supply base, general industry information, good purchasing practices and knowledgeable in contracting
- Excellent communication skills with influencing and convincing abilities
- Project management knowledge and team player attitude
- Strong Analytical thinking and Strategic skills
- Working proficiency in English is required, other Asian languages are an advantage
- Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, Transport Management Systems
