The Segment

The Climate and Resilience Hub (CRH) is the focal point for our climate expertise and capabilities, pooling knowledge from across our people, risk and capital businesses and from our collaborations to deliver climate and resilience solutions in response to a range of regulatory, investor, consumer, employee and operating pressures. Under the Climate Quantified™ brand we deliver analytics, advice and transactions to enable corporate, finance and public sector institutions to embrace the climate decade ahead.


The Role

We are looking for an experienced, highly skilled and motivated senior individual to join WTW’s award winning Climate and Resilience Hub (CRH) and lead our growing team and business in Asia. You will help institutions evaluate and implement their pathways to a resilient, just and net zero transition drawing upon WTW’s extensive climate-related capabilities across risk, capital and people solutions.

You will contribute to the development of CRH global programmes and strategy and the development of the extensive WTW business platform in Asia.


This will include:

  • Develop and deliver the strategy and business for the Asia-Pacific Climate Risk Centre
  • Leadership of CRH’s business development of advisory and transactional work in Asia Pacific
  • Lead teams to deliver complex projects and manage team resources to ensure progressagainst timetables, deliverables, resources, governance and professional excellence
  • Collaborate with our people, risk, and capital businesses to solve client needs through new proposition development across physical, transition, and liability climate risk
  • Build and iterate an operating model for the Asia-Pacific Climate Risk Centre, including the development of working relationships with CRH staff around the world and with WTWindustry experts across Asia-Pacific
  • Build, manage, and develop the capabilities of staff in the Asia-Pacific Climate Risk Centre
  • Develop, maintain, coordinate and facilitate strong relationships and good communications with business partners, clients, and other organisations in the Asia Pacific region
  • Actively mentor members of the team on a technical and professional development basis;
  • Representation of the CRH and WTW at key external events in Asia;
  • Contribute to the development of new intellectual capital


The Requirements

  • Educated to postgraduate level in geography, environmental science, risk, or a closely related field (holding a PhD is a strong asset)
  • Proven experience providing advisory services on climate risk, including with multilateral development banks, corporates, and other similar organisations;
  • Excellent knowledge of and experience in assessing and managing climate physical andtransition risks.
  • Proven project coordination skills and experience as team leader.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate methods,results and recommendations from complex analysis to expert and non-technical audiences
  • Professionalism, enthusiasm for working as the leader of a team, and ability to interactwith a diverse group of people Respect for your fellow colleagues and a deep commitment to the mission and values of the Climate and Resilience Hub of WTW
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience on climate risk, with a strong track record inthe Asia-Pacific region
  • International travel will be required occasionally
