Business Nature: Logistics @ Port Klang/Pulau Indah, Selangor
Working hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm)
Salary: Up to Rm4000 per month
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the overall management of day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping of chemical products.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and safe startup process.
- Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, responsibility, and continuous improvement.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of warehouse personnel.
- Effectively communicate organizational goals and objectives to the team.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards related to chemical warehousing.
- Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and resolve any compliance issues promptly.
- Implement and monitor systems / SOP for the proper handling and storage of chemical products.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Logistics, Supply Chain Management).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical warehousing or a related industry.
- Ability to patiently navigate challenges associated with a pioneer role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with regulatory authorities.
