As an Automation Service Technician, you will be essential in maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing our clients' electrical and automation systems. This hands-on role requires technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of various electrical and automation systems at client sites.
- Assist in the installation, retrofitting, and rectification of electrical and automation systems, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Work closely with service engineers to understand work scopes and deliver projects according to client needs.
- Document service activities, including detailing work performed, issues encountered, and recommendations for future client actions, in clear and concise service reports.
- Carry out ad-hoc administrative and technical tasks as required by the team or project needs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Automation Service Technician, with 1-3 years in the marine and offshore industry.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as P&IDs and electrical schematics.
- Willingness to work overtime and travel overseas for project assignments.
- Technical diploma or certification in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and repair.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
