IT Infrastructure Service Governance Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and strategic-minded Infrastructure Service Governance Manager to oversee the governance of infrastructure services and drive initiatives aimed at optimizing costs and enhancing service delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing the existing infrastructure services provided by organization's technology partner, conceptualizing innovative solutions, and transforming services into products that meet the needs of organization's internal teams, including Sales, HR, and others. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of product management principles and be capable of designing and marketing services to showcase cost savings and improved service offerings.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the governance of infrastructure services to ensure alignment with business objectives and cost optimization goals.
  • Review and assess the existing infrastructure services offered by our technology partner, identifying opportunities for cost savings and service improvement.
  • Conceptualize, prototype, and design innovative solutions to transform services into products that meet the needs of internal stakeholders.
  • Lead Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed solutions.
  • Develop standardized service offerings that can be automated using DevOps practices, with a focus on cost efficiency and service quality.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Market new services to internal teams and senior management, highlighting cost savings and enhanced service delivery.
  • Establish governance processes to monitor and evaluate the performance of infrastructure services and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in infrastructure service governance and product management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in infrastructure service governance, cost optimization, and service transformation.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure services, including standard and non-standard offerings.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools for automation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
