Join our dynamic IT team as an L1 Support Engineer (IT Admin) and play a crucial role in maintaining our organization's technological infrastructure. In this position, you'll be responsible for providing frontline support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operations of our IT systems. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, learn new technologies, and contribute to the overall success of our IT operations. If you're a proactive problem-solver with a passion for technology and excellent communication skills, we'd love to hear from you. 

Position Duties 

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software.
  • Attend as the first level of IT support to all reported incidents and service requests.
  • Maintain documentation of IT related incidents and ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
  • Assist with user account management, including creation, deletion, and modification.
  • Manage the procurement of new computers and coordinate the distribution of equipment for new hires.
  • Maintain the IT assets inventory record including accountability forms.
  • Collaborate with higher-level support teams for licenses, accesses, or complex issues.
  • Other admin tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience providing technical support.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling IT assets and equipment.
  • Strong mindset to try out new approaches to solve unique problems.
  • Ability to take responsibility and ownership of managing and resolving tickets.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework or basic IT service management concepts.
  • Familiarity with IT procurement processes and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in using IT support tools and ticketing systems such as Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow or similar
  • Holds a passion for IT and has received education in a related field.
  • Prioritizes customer satisfaction and maintains a user-centric approach.
  • Capable of working autonomously and effectively within a team setting.
