Roles & Responsibilities
- To lead and guide Service engineers in service-related matters
- To provide training, technical support and advice to Service engineers
- To learn and transfer new technology knowledge and skills from Japan HQ to Service engineers in Singapore and regional countries
- To interface between customers, engineers and Japan HQ in troubleshooting and finding out the countermeasures and solutions for machine problems
- To plan, assign Service engineers as well as involve in the installation, repair, modification and preventive maintenance of equipment
- To provide service support for countries under Singapore territories such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and India as and when required
- To prepare and submit monthly report on service and parts activities in Japanese language for submission to Japan HQ
Job Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
- Possess minimum 10 years of hands-on field experience in CNC machines or related equipment
- Technically strong in diagnosis and repair of 5-axis multitasking machines
- Strong in laser and double ball bar calibration
- Possess good understanding and interpretation of programmable logic control (PLC) and excellent knowledge of NC and special skills
- Able to read and interpret electrical circuit diagram, possess hands-on experience in electrical part replacement
- Good field experience in changing mill spindle, ball screw, linear scale and linear guide
- Fluent in English and Japanese languages (both oral and written are equally important)
- Independent, possess advance technical knowledge, fast response and willing to work overtime
