My client with a strong experience in Electronic Fuel and Bunkering Monitoring, and expert in vessel performance management, data acquisition and modelling. They offer a full range of end-to-end solutions for ship owners and charterers around the world.


Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Technician/Engineer will work closely with the Project/Production and service teams and will be responsible various aspects of project execution and after sales service, system assembly, testing, implementation, remote technical support and service, on site support and service, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company's strategy, commitments and goals. The engineer will work closely with the various teams to ensure successful implementation of the projects and after sales technical service.

ROLE

• Work with the operations team to ensure all deliverables within the projects, meet required quality levels, budgets, and timescale

•System Assembly, Testing, Shipment, Warehouse and Stock Management

• Provide remote support

• Attend to assignment according to requirement locally and occasionally overseas

• Carry out in house testing

• Liaise with contractors and customers to ensure on time delivery of projects

Attend Local or Overseas Site Survey & Commissioning onboard vessels

• Prepare report according to Site Survey requirement and post commissioning

• Generate Bill of Material based on the order requirements

Prepare Schematic and Termination Drawing in accordance to requirement using AutoCAD/ other software for project deliverables

• Liaise with contractors and customers to ensure on time delivery of projects

• Manage all communications on the projects and attend customer meetings

• Monitor and report on progress of the projects to all stakeholders

• Provide technical support to customers and colleagues

• Project ownership from Pre-Sales through to delivery

• Point of contact for deliverables within the projects, meet required quality levels, budgets and timescale

Planning of installations and service jobs in the region

• Ensure that Project management software is up to date for project and after sales services related to contracts owned by Singapore

• Oversee documentation is updated, reports, drawings and other information is uploaded to document space

• Alignment between project manager, production procurement, logistics, sales and other project stakeholders


Requirements:-

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics or equivalent
  • Commissioning and shipyard experience preferred.
  • Familiar with ships and offshore/shipping industry
  • Previous experience in Maritime, Shipbuilding, Navy, Marine and able to work onboard vessels when needed.
