This position will be require to travel and based in China for at least 6-9 months of the year.
Overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality management processes and operations in our data center manufacturing facility. The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing processes, products, and services meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality management systems and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance procedures, including inspection protocols, testing methodologies, and quality control measures.
- Lead and manage a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, procurement, and sales, to ensure alignment with quality objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes and products to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of quality procedures, standards, and processes to ensure compliance and facilitate continuous improvement efforts.
- Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction levels to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement, and implement measures to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Manage supplier quality programs, including supplier qualification, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, manufacturing, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ certifications) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management, preferably in a manufacturing or data center environment.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools, with experience in implementing quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and manage cross-functional projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and implement solutions to improve quality and efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
