Customer Service Engineer (Analytical Instruments or Semiconductor Equipment)
Main purpose of job:
· To install, repair and maintain customer instruments.
· To provide technical customer support.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of current installed base of equipment for APAC.
· Troubleshoot, diagnose customer problems, and coordinates appropriate corrective action directly.
· Conform always to safety, cleanliness, and working protocol policies to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
· Ensure that guidelines and standards of work expected by company are understood and met. Carry out preventative maintenance activities to installed base as per factory guidelines.
· Provide Service Support and basic training after installation.
· General Service administration activities and report submission.
· Responsible for proper spare part handling per internal procedures.
Qualifications:
· Diploma Electrical Engineering & Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related education.
· Knowledge of Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical, Electronics, Mechanics preferred.
· 2~3 of experience in maintaining analytical instruments or semiconductor equipment is preferred.
· Able to read circuit diagrams and technical manual
· Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with MS office proficiency.
· Self-sufficient in computer/networking skills necessary to analyse logs, summarize data.
· Able to travel both domestically and internationally on short notice
