We are looking for a Warehouse Manager who will oversee all aspects of our dry commodities warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, logistics, and inventory control, with a focus on optimizing processes and ensuring the timely and accurate distribution of goods. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the dry commodities warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to optimize supply chain operations.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff to maintain high standards of performance and safety.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology to track inventory and streamline processes.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to fulfill orders and meet customer demands.
- Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Requirements:
- Prior working experience in warehouse management, with a focus on dry commodities or similar products.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
