This advertisement is for the recruiting position of Operations Support Officer.
If successfully selected, you will be seconded to a MOE Secondary School located in Dunman Lane.
Contract Period: From 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 10:00am to 7:00pm, inclusive of 0.5 hr lunch break
- Fridays: 10:30am to 7:00pm, inclusive of of 0.5 hr lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
- If the candidate is required to work beyond these hours of days, the candidate will be compensated with off-in-lieu.
The Services required are set out as follows:
- Provide cleaning services
- Provide logistics support for school events e.g. moving and arranging tables and chairs
- Closing of school and keep school facilities safe and secure
- Supervise and escort the Authority’s appointed term contractors who are carrying out facilities management services in school
- Check on the existing stock of cleaning supplies and toilet supplies and feedback to Operations Manager for replenishment of stock
- Carry out administrative roles (such as receiving and inspecting goods and/or services, compilation of delivery orders) to assist the Operations Manager
- Report building faults to Operations Manager
- Any other operational support services duties as assigned by the Authority
The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
Qualifications:
- The personnel must have at least a Primary 6 local school education or equivalent.
- The personnel should preferably have experience in providing cleaning services.
- The personnel should preferably have experience working in customer-service related jobs.
- The personnel must be physically able to provide logistics support for school events.
- The personnel must know how to use WhatApp Messenger application or equivalent to take photos for reporting of building faults.
