To join a creative design consultancy with an international portfolio that specialises in architecture and interiors focused on high end bungalows, hotels, commercial developments, renowned restaurants and bars and popular global brands. Operating for over 20 years from our KL headquarters and with a satellite office in Australia, we are looking for an Architectural Draftsman who is skilled in AutoCAD to join our highly skilled team of Architects and Designers. The ideal candidate will have experience working on a variety of project types, including 5 star hotels, residential, commercial and interiors. They will need to be confident in completing tender construction drawings and working closely with our architects and other members of the design team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Creating technical drawings from architects' sketches and specifications for tender and submissions.
- Using AutoCAD to create drawings that incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and other construction details.
- Visiting construction sites to perform measurements and calculate dimensions as needed.
- Collaborating with architects and consultants to ensure adherence to building specifications and industry regulations.
- Manage project schedules and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- Work with other team members to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or certification program in a related field or 10+years of experience in architectural drafting.
- Capacity to produce accurate plans, elevations, sections and construction details.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Great analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of joinery would be a bonus.
