Job Responsibilities:
- To carry out site measurement, site valuation and follow up on site progress claim.
- Prepare and manage project cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor project costs, analyze variances, and implement cost control measures.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and verify quantities.
- Prepare and submit interim claim and final valuations for client approval.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Manage and maintain accurate project records, including contracts, variations, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Assist in resolving contractual and commercial issues as they arise.
- Taking off quantity, controlling, ordering, recording and monitor of material.
Job Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably with site experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement methods.
- Proficiency in cost estimating, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, diligently, result oriented and a team player.
- Strong analytical, initiative and abilities to problem-solving.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of construction software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, etc)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
